Several precautions for maintaining the short network of the ore blast furnace!

Today, let's briefly introduce (1) Avoid open arc operation as much as possible, otherwise the high-temperature radiation heat of open arc will not only increase the temperature of the short network, but also melt the electrode components. (2) Regularly use compressed air to remove dust attached to various parts of the short net, ensuring good heat dissipation in each part of the short net. (3) Regularly pay attention to whether the cooling water is unobstructed, grasp temperature changes, and ensure that the inlet temperature does not exceed 25 ℃ and the outlet temperature does not exceed 50 ℃ (4) The temperature of each part of the short net should generally not exceed 70 ℃, and the temperature of the contact points should not exceed 10 ℃ or more. (5) For electric furnaces that use high voltage current to control electrode lifting and lowering, when operating at a low tap voltage level, pay attention to operating at a high voltage current value equivalent to that level. High voltage current values should not be used at the original voltage level, otherwise the transformer will be overloaded at low voltage. The temperature of the conductor should not be too high, or even damaged. (6) With the regular maintenance of the electric furnace, all contact surfaces of the short net system should be removed, the oxide layer should be removed, and sturdy components that must be replaced should be replaced. (7) In a short network with multiple parallel branches of each polarity, if one branch is repaired due to damage, the contact surfaces of the other branches must be repaired simultaneously. Otherwise, due to the lower contact resistance compared to other branches, the newly replaced or maintained branch will quickly and continuously be damaged.
