Due to the use of clean energy sources such as hydropower, wind power, photovoltaics, etc., electric arc furnace steelmaking can reduce carbon emissions by about 60% compared to traditional blast furnace converter processes, making it an important choice for the low-carbon transformation of the steel industry. At present, electric arc furnaces have been widely used in the production of high-quality steel such as special steel and stainless steel. With the improvement of the scrap steel resource recycling system and the optimization of the power supply structure, the proportion of electric arc furnaces in the total steel production is gradually increasing.
